Measurement & Verification
Measurement & Verification of Energy Savings Projects initiated or implemented on the basis of cost savings require validation of the achieved results. This can be a complex technical task. The M&V process for a project should be specified and agreed at the outset along with baselines. It is critical to use established industry standards and practices in the process.

Metering
One of the most accurate means of measurement is the relatively new practice of metering, which is the direct tracking of energy savings. Optegy can provide a metering service, to capture the usage data, and also to provide interpretation and analysis of the results. The data is tracked using sanctioned engineering protocols.

Metrix™ software tool
Optegy is the Asian agent for Metrix™, an energy accounting software tool. Metrix can use energy usage data to clearly demonstrate the actual energy savings achieved in a totally transparent manner.
